SBIR/STTR How-To Workshop

July 27, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

HYBRID EVENT! You can attend In-person at The Mill or join us on Zoom (you’ll receive a link by email after registering).

Get your share of the $3.7B in R&D funds that the federal government awards each year to businesses like yours! Join IN3 and Third Coast Federal for a workshop to learn about the SBIR/STTR federal grant programs. The SBIR program aims to strengthen the role of innovative small businesses in federally funded research and development (R&D). Learn how your business can apply for SBIR/STTR funds to grow and innovate—without giving up equity.

Do you think millions in non-dilutive R&D funding for your business is too good to be true? Think again. In FY 2020, businesses in the South Bend/Elkhart region won over $6.5M in R&D funding, with awards ranging from $50K to $1.5M.

Following the presentation, we can explore your specific R&D opportunities, the value of those opportunities, and the agency solicitations to which you should apply.

The Mill is hosting two sessions on this topic. Please register for one or both to make sure all your questions are answered!
