Code/IT Academy provides free upskilling training to eligible residents. This 10-week free program prepares graduates for new economy jobs with higher wages and growth potential. Working full time? No problem. The program is virtual and asynchronous.
The fall 2021 cohort is focused on software development. Gain experience with Python, CSS, HTML, and work with professional career coaches to help you start a new tech career! The program will launch on October 4 with an in-person kickoff event.
A partnership between Duke Energy, The Mill, and Ivy Tech Bloomington, Code/IT Academy includes curriculum, career coaches, technical coaches, academic resources, and job placement support after the course. Code/IT Academy is funded in part by a $100,000 grant from the City of Bloomington. Residents of Bloomington and Monroe County receive preference for admittance.
