A four-part series designed to help you focus on what you really need to be happy and fulfilled, on your terms. It’s tough out there! Navigating work and life is filled with challenges for women and the pandemic journey has exacerbated stress. If it feels like you are losing your sense of self because you are so busy tending to everyone else’s needs above your own – this series is for you. This 4-part series is designed for the women interested in rolling up their sleeves to focus on what they really need to be happy and fulfilled, on their terms. We will create an intimate and safe space to face challenges together and get unstuck. You’ll dig in with action steps and practical tools to live the life you want to lead. This series will empower you to move forward using experiential learning in the company of supportive women. Sessions will meet from 4pm to 5:30pm on four afternoons: September 29, October 27, November 17, and December 15. ReBoot Registration Opens for Winter 2023

ReBoot: Inclusive Entrepreneurial Education (Winter, 2023) Entrepreneurship presents powerful opportunities for individuals and communities. Here at The Mill, we want to create more inclusive access to those opportunities! ReBoot is a free program to help people explore entrepreneurship and receive support for developing them. Are you curious about entrepreneurship? Maybe you have a side hustle you’d like to turn full-time. Maybe you’ve been at home with the kids, and you need a new plan for the next stage of life. Maybe the pandemic opened up new dreams about working for yourself. Take a week in ReBoot to explore the possibilities! There’s no cost, no risk, and you just might get inspired. Exclusively for women & nonbinary folx who want to explore entrepreneurship. Completely free and open to all stages of interest, whether you have an idea, an up-and-running business, or simply the desire to learn more. We’ll meet for 5 days in February, from 6-7:30 pm. First class is in-person, the rest are virtual. You’ll also get a free 3-month full-time membership to The Mill and access to all its resources. A free, casual monthly get-together at The Mill for remote workers to take a break, connect to community, and eat lunch on us. Join us! Working remotely? Connect to community! Take a break from eating at your keyboard and join other remote workers at The Mill for free lunch & casual networking and chat. Open to Mill members and the public! The deets: Third Wednesday of every month, noon-1 pm, in the Classroom at The Mill in downtown Bloomington. Parking: Guests may park in the Trades District garage at 10th and Rogers, or use metered street parking on 11th, Morton, or Rogers. There is one ADA parking space located at the corner of Madison and 11th on the east side of the street. Free short-term (2-hour) parking is sometimes available on Rogers or on 11th St west of Rogers. Bike racks are on the west and south sides of the building, and the #2 bus travels along Morton Street.

Code/IT Academy: Free Training For CompTIA Security+ Certification (Spring, 2023) The spring 2023 program prepares you to take the CompTIA Security+ certification exam. CompTIA Security+ establishes the core knowledge required of any cybersecurity role and provides a springboard to intermediate-level cybersecurity jobs. CompTIA Security+ validates the baseline skills necessary to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career. Are you looking for a new career in an in-demand field, with higher wages, and growth potential? Code/IT Academy is a free upskilling program for new economy jobs in web development. Take the first step toward a brighter future! There’s no cost and no risk. Invest just 10 weeks in Code/IT’s free training to start making a life change. Students need to have a basic understanding of computer systems and network infrastructure either through previous classwork or job experience. Crossroads Collegiate Pitch Competition The flagship Crossroads Pitch Competition showcases Indiana’s best and brightest entrepreneurs. It’s about building up Indiana’s entrepreneurial scene by creating a path to success for early stage startups. Crossroads Collegiate now brings this experience exclusively to Hoosier college and university students. Competitors have a chance to win thousands in cash & in-kind prizes, and perhaps more importantly, they also gain exposure to potential talent, mentors, investors, and customers. Crossroads attracts competitors from across the entire state of Indiana—and we’re intentional about that.
