Alliance for Women Entrepreneurs

The Mill 642 North Madison Street, Bloomington, IN, United States

The Alliance for Women Entrepreneurs is a new professional network for support, referrals, and community. The Alliance is a member-led group based at The Mill. We'll take the first few meetings to fully define the group based on member input. Based on early advice, here is our startup plan: We will meet monthly via Zoom, to lower barriers to attending. We'll also meet in person 3-4 times a year, to deepen connections. We'll have guest speakers on topics of interest to the group, for learning and inspiration. Meetings will be a safe space to learn, bounce off ideas, share resources, and support, encourage, and mentor each other. This first gathering will be Wednesday, September 14th at 9:30am, in person at The Mill. Our October meeting will take place during Innovation Week, at the annual Ada Lovelace Day Luncheon on Tuesday, October 11th at 11:30 am at The Mill. A panel of women founders and VC women will present over lunch. After that, our regular meetings will switch to virtual. Interested in learning more?
