A free, casual monthly get-together at The Mill for remote workers to take a break, connect to community, and eat lunch on us. Join us! Working remotely? Connect to community! Take a break from eating at your keyboard and join other remote workers at The Mill for free lunch & casual networking and chat. Open to Mill members and the public! The deets: Third Wednesday of every month, noon-1 pm, in the Classroom at The Mill in downtown Bloomington. Lunches will be boxed, with vegetarian and gluten-free options available. COVID safety: The Mill is proud to be a leader in COVID safety. Masks and social distancing are required. Please sign our COVID waiver before you arrive. Parking: Guests may park in the Morton Street garage at 220 N Morton St, or use metered street parking on 11th, Morton, or Rogers. There is one ADA parking space located at the corner of Madison and 11th on the east side of the street. Free short-term (2-hour) parking is sometimes available on Rogers or on 11th St west of Rogers. Bike racks are on the west and south sides of the building, and the #2 bus travels along Morton Street.

Southern Regional Nexus Pitch Competition

Elevate Nexus provides resources and thought leadership to Indiana higher-education institutions and the entrepreneurs they engage. Elevate Nexus Pitch Competitions offer promising startups, preferably engaged with Elevate Nexus partnered colleges and universities, the opportunity to secure foundational capital needed to launch their businesses. At this event, startups will have 10 minutes to pitch and respond to questions from a panel of Elevate Ventures judges. Three $20,000 pre-seed and two $80,000 seed investment will be awarded to the startups that provide the best pitches. Winning companies will also gain access to all resources Elevate Ventures provides portfolio businesses and will be invited to pitch again for additional funding at an August 2022 statewide pitch competition.

Crossroads Collegiate Pitch Competition Finals

Join us live at The Mill in the Event Hall to watch the finalists of Crossroads Collegiate Pitch Competition compete live! Crossroads is one of the biggest pitch competitions in Indiana, and the Collegiate edition features the best and brightest rising stars. This competition is open to any founder currently enrolled in an Indiana college or university with a startup located in Indiana. Competitors are judged by vetted and respected panels of Indiana entrepreneurs and investors. Only the best collegiate entrepreneurs will make it to the Crossroads Collegiate Finals for a chance to win cash prizes and additional opportunities.
